Jakarta, March 2009 - Alila hotels and resort recently appointed Eric Faivre as General Manager of its cool, abstract-minimalist interior hotel, Alila Jakarta located on Jl. Pecenongan kav. 7-17, Jakarta 10120.
Born in Strasbourg, France, Eric has over 20 years of hospitality experience.
He started his career at "Le Crocodile" a 2 Michelin Star Restaurant in his home town before going abroad to gain International experience with the Conran Group in London, The Palace Hotel Moscow, The Peninsula Beijing, The Peninsula Chicago and The Peninsula Bangkok.
He then opened The Chedi, Chiang Mai in Thailand with GHM as Executive Assistant Manager and co. founded Zeitgeist Project Ltd developing Legation Quarter, a Lifestyle Project in Beijing. More recently he worked as a freelance hospitality consultant developing The Khao Yai Privilage Country Club, Thailand and the Swatch Project in Shanghai.
Fluent in French and English, Eric received a Hospitality Management Diploma from the acclaimed "Ecole Hoteliere de Strasbourg", France.
